Shakespeare is Elementary
Shakespeare is Elementary turns your classroom into a stage. No one is left out. All are engaged and enchanted by Shakespeare. This program is a full voice, whole body, and hands on introduction to Shakespeare, with students learning to read, act and understand "the Bard". The program includes every student, third grade and up, learning to have fun performing an authentic kid-friendly scene from Shakespeare.

Activities
Professional Actor/Educators model with students how to read, interpret and perform Shakespeare's plays during an introductory assembly.
Small groups of students are coached and encouraged by three Actor/Educators to act out their specially selected scene.
There are five forty minute working sessions with Actor/Educators and students during a three day residency.
A culminating assembly highlights the experience, with one or two groups from each class sharing their scenes from Shakespeare.
